Our Governance & Commitment
IGPTN is a member-based organisation registered with Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations under the CATSI Act 2006, ensuring strong governance, accountability and that our organisation remains Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander – controlled.
Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible to apply for IGPTN membership if you are:
- An Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- 18 years or older
- A registered medical practitioner in Australia, and
A Fellow of, or accepted into, a recognised training program with Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and/or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and/or are Working towards becoming a GP or RG (including medical students and prevocational doctors on that pathway)
