About IGPTN
The Indigenous General Practice Trainee Network (IGPTN) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led organisation that creates culturally responsive and safe spaces for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander General Practitioner and Rural Generalist Trainees, as well as supporting GP/RG Fellows and developing innovative strategies for attracting the next generation of GPs/RGs. The Opportunity
As we enter an exciting period of growth with secured 5-year funding from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, IGPTN is seeking its first permanent CEO to lead the organisation into its next phase of development and long-term sustainability.
The CEO will be a culturally grounded, strategic and collaborative leader responsible for building IGPTN’s organisational strength, driving its vision and representing the organisation nationally.
This is a hands-on CEO role – well suited to a leader who enjoys both strategy and active involvement in day-to-day operations. As a small but growing organisation, the CEO will work closely with the Board, team members and stakeholders to deliver on IGPTN’s purpose.
For a full CEO Job pack and Position Description or to understand more about the role before applications close, you can contact our Interim CEO, Nadia Lindop via ceo@igptn.org.au or 0492-050-239 for a confidential phone discussion.
Applications close 19th December 2025. Note, we may commence interviewing earlier.
